They offer brand-new and well furnished rooms. Fairly friendly and outstandingly accommodating staff, they smile all the time. The setting is particularly good and stunning, next to pub & dining areas as well as the shops and restaurants, lively area. Also, St Michael's Church is just a short walk away from the venue.

I enjoyed a comfortable stay with friendly staff and a cozy large double room that was clean and well-stocked with amenities. The breakfast options lacked variety and the parking situation was a bit inconvenient. It's an ideal spot for a short visit.

Just a fine choice for a quick layover in Lewes with attractive and competitive value for money. The breakfast was quite good, especially the cooked options that had a nice variety. Be sure to check out the nearby parking, it's quite convenient.

Great stay near Glyndebourne
The location is spot-on for Glyndebourne. Our room was super clean and spacious, loved the big window. The breakfast was massive and delicious. My wife had gluten-free options, a nice touch. Just wish the TV was bigger-seriously needed some binoculars to see it!

It has an excellent location, very close to the shops. Our large double room was clean, spacious, and bright, with a fantastic bathroom stocked with toiletries. The staff really stood out, being friendly and accommodating, especially with my wife's dietary restrictions. All in all, it was a lovely, historic pub that hit all the right notes for our visit.

Found the location convenient, close to town, and appreciated the friendly staff. The breakfast was decent, though it could offer more variety. My room was comfortable but a bit hot, and a fan would have improved that.

Cute staff and excellent dining experience
I enjoyed a warm welcome from the staff and was pleased with the superb quality of the food offered in the pub. The cozy atmosphere added to the experience. The room showed signs of wear, particularly with the wardrobe, which could use some maintenance.

We had a warm welcome from the cheerful manager, and our small double room was perfect for us. The meal was really great, especially on a wet evening, and the staff were super friendly and hardworking. The breakfast was nice and substantial, so we didn't feel the need to eat out at all. Plus, the whole place was well maintained and it's cool they name the rooms after sussex celebs!
only downside was the room was a bit dark at night with not enough lighting, and it could use some more hooks in the bathroom for towels.

We hit up some great spots, especially Lewes Golf Club. The place had a relaxed vibe, and we loved the comfy room. Super nice team, too. Just a heads up though, breakfast could use some variety. It's mostly continental, so don't expect a huge spread.
